Dr. Abdullah Rahman serves as President of X-CRaD, bringing over 25 years of experience in Islamic scholarship and institutional leadership. His research focuses on Islamic legal theory and contemporary applications of maqasid al-shariah. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from the University of Oxford and an M.A. in Islamic Law from Al-Azhar University.
Dr. Rahman has published extensively on the intersection of Islamic law and human rights, and his work has been translated into multiple languages. Before joining X-CRaD, he served as Dean of Islamic Studies at several prestigious universities and has been a visiting scholar at institutions across Europe, Asia, and North America.
